Now back in Sweden I´'m thinking back of my stay at FP in March. It was my second stay there and I really enjoyed it in so many ways.
If you are going to Kerala and planning to visit Varkala: Take the opportunity to stay att FP!

At Fort Cochi we wonder where to go now when, by chance, we met Nicklas. So, we discovered The First Place whe we spent an unforgettable week in the Ganesh room, the sound of the waves, the birds, the Kerala food of Raghi( the cook) and the so gentle presence of Shah. What a lovely place!

We, my younget son and I, had a beautiful stay at The First Place. Calm, peaceful and very very friendly!

The First Place is a very nice place with a wonderful view to the beach, the palmtrees and some peaceful chewing cows with a cowheron very close. The rooms are fresh and clean and the garden is small but nice. We really want to come back!

First place looks just wonderful!! And I hope that my path makes everything run a bit more smoothly

The sunsets, the lovely view over the palmgrove and the beach, the warm sea, the busy fishermen in the mornings, the rickshawtrips, the fresh papayas in the afternoons, the food good and spicy nearby or in Varkala, the quiet place to come back to after our trips to backwaters or Tiruvanatapuram, all the nice and friendly people .... these are some of our lovely memories from Odayam and The First Place.
